All attributes were removed but ID, NAME, STATE_NAME, ST_ABBREV, AREA, Shape, and Genshp (the generalized Shape attribute). The following Geographies: CBSA, DMA, and Zip5 boundaries, used the Jan 2014 Teleatlas release of these data sets. All geographies reprojected all the data layers to Web Mercator (Auxiliary Sphere). An in-house, custom tool was used to generate a weighted centroid shapefile of this data set from U.S. Block Centroids. The Esri Community Data attributes were joined, which were exported out of our Data Production environment into FGDB format. ArcGIS 10.3.1.4933 withheld 20150421 The data set is converted to FGDB (File Geodatabase) format using either Esri Geoprocessing tools in ArcGIS. After processing, the data set is checked for drawing display and number of records and file sizes compared with source materials. This data set provides two levels of generalization. The horizontal positional accuracy is 167 feet for the base feature class <data set name>. This feature class also has the highest horizontal positional accuracy.
